Delicious food, friendly and fast service. Only the choice for lunch could be a bit bigger. Again any time.

Nice short hiking trails from the Schönwald hiking car park. Nice economy, delicious food. Furnished inside with attention to detail. Nice beer garden. Minunpunkt: The creme brulee (dessert) is unfortunately not recommended. A play opportunity for children would be nice. E.g. a seesaw, swing or sandpit.

Just gigantic ..... the new tenants are awesome. Actually arrived almost too late and despite everything we got a great menu. The location is an absolute dream and the team is super friendly and ready to have fun until the end ... Hygiene measures were perfectly implemented for the purpose of corona. Inside and outside very nicely renovated old building, idyllically located in a clearing in the forest, nice beer garden, good food. The Obatzda, which is actually a grub in Franconia, is served with very tasty farmer's bread - recommendation! There might still be room for improvement in terms of service, but the rectory is worth a visit.

Really beautiful location, we had high expectations of the inn. On Sundays there is a special menu that did not include a single vegetarian dish. This is already a no go for me in 2020. On request, the kitchen offered, they can make potato curls and salad. Unfortunately, it was not possible to explain to us what potato curls are. We took it anyway and the salad. Mind you: we were there for lunch. What came up was a small plate of side salad. I mean, why aren't you so flexible, double the amount (and of course the price) and make something filling out of it? The fact that there was an ant on the salad should only be mentioned in passing. But that was quickly exchanged. You had to ask for bread separately. We were still hungry and ordered another piece of homemade cake with cream. Unfortunately, the spray cream didn't help the very dry apple pie either. I left it there. For us (as vegetarians) it is definitely not a culinary highlight.

Had a small family celebration at the weekend, we were very satisfied. Very friendly, quick and although we had extra requests, they were met. The food was very good and the homemade cake from the boss was the perfect end. Will definitely be back and can only recommend it. Many thanks to the hosts and employees!

Unfortunately only a very small card for this great location on Sundays. But food was good and plentiful. Service seemed a bit haphazard. Get wrong information on the phone.

The rectory is beautifully located, in the middle of nature and a quiet place. Which should be visited more often, especially during long bike tours or hikes you will find refreshment here! On August 1st there was even a band that created an extraordinary and beautiful atmosphere. It was busy and still the beer was cold! Just perfect! As a northern light, I really liked it overall and after my soon to move to Upper Franconia, I will probably visit there more often! ;-) Keep it up! Kind regards, Viktor

What a beautiful place! We have been here twice during our holiday at Ferienwohnung Oxana in Schönwald (also recommended). Location is beautiful in the forest and the interior is attractive. Nice terrace and the food is local and good. And the Bachus wine is delicious. Extremely friendly service. A gem and really different from the many typical German restaurants. We will come back here again.

A very nice place. The waitresses are very nice and friendly. The food came relatively quickly and was very tasty, we liked it a lot.

Very tasty food, friendly and courteous waiters. The "old parsonage" is located on a quiet piece of earth - pure nature! Great ambience. We will definitely come back on our next visit :)

We went hiking and then visited the beer garden. It was a celebration and so there was a lot going on inside. The food was very tasty. Actually worth five stars. But the waitresses! Our order was forgotten twice. After that, I didn't get an alcohol-free wheat beer, but a normal one. That doesn't work at all. But didn't bother the waitress after the complaint. Too bad.

A wonderful beer garden with a view over the large meadow to the forest. Food good, very friendly service, open for extra requests. Go there so that the "rectory" is preserved!

Well organized CORONA company. Everyone was satisfied, good mood and a lot going on. And VERY good cake. We hiked 2 km there and back. Just the right distance. Back soon.

Unbelievably rude ! We were told there is only one type of cake available and the people after us had a choice of 3 different cakes. When we brought this to the attention of the waitress, the owner came out of the kitchen and proceeded to yell at me and my elderly parents. Por quality cake and even poorer quality customer service!
